Teri Clifton is a passionate traveler who loves striking out both alone and with her four children in search of adventure. Believing that quality of life can be created by simply reaching for the stars in your own back yard, Teri has explored the abundance nature has to offer through backpacking and climbing mountains. She has summited Mt. Whitney solo as well as with her two teenage daughters. Teri knows her way around thrifty travel with a keen eye toward staying in cost friendly hostels. Her belief that joy can easily be found at garage sales, collecting treasure at the beach and making works of art from found objects has been shared with many over the years. She enjoys spending time as an art volunteer with rescued children at risk in addition to working with the homeless.

With a past rooted deeply in a natural approach to birth and childrearing, Teri’s experience as a mother has encompassed everything from the family bed to the turbulent teen. As a former Chair of the Board of a private school, Teri’s background in school policy and parent/teacher relations has given her a broad view of the stress of the school years. She has navigated many areas of parenting including private versus public school, breast or the bottle, SAT tutoring as well as a host of other parent/child issues.

Teri discovered the art of screenwriting and enjoyed success with two screenplays optioned and placement in Fade In Magazine's 2009 screenwriting contest. As a self-employed photographer for the past decade, Teri has been a part of many special, once in a lifetime events from weddings to bar mitzvahs.
